HelloParks received new professional recognitions
HelloParks, the industrial real estate developer belonging to the Futureal group, triumphed in two categories at the international CRE Awards real estate market award ceremony organized by EuropaProperty for the 6th time. The company became the developer of the year, and their latest warehouse development was also recognized as the Project of the Year. At the event, the jury awarded Gábor Futó, co-founder of the Futureal group, with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
One of the most prestigious recognitions of the real estate industry in Central Europe, the CRE Awards organized by EuropaProperty awarded the best of the sector at the gala event organized in Budapest. The industrial real estate developer HelloParks, repeating last year’s successes, won the jury’s recognition in two categories.
By awarding the Developer of the Year award, the industry recognized HelloParks’ dynamic growth and market-shaping approach. The industrial real estate developer was founded in October 2020, and today it is already working on the development of a total of more than 1 million square meters of warehouse and industrial space on around 200 hectares in four key transport hubs around Budapest – Maglód, Fót, Páty and Alsónémedi.
The Project of the Year award was won by the HelloParks Alsónémedi AN1 development. The 60,000 square meter modern warehouse has outstanding sustainability features, with which the developer aims to obtain the BREEAM Outstanding rating in the New Construction category. Today, the company only builds such warehouse buildings, making it unique in the domestic market.
Gábor Futó, co-founder of the Futureal group, was also honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the gala. Together with his father, Dr. Péter Futó, Gábor Futó founded the company group, which has become one of the leading real estate developers and investors in the Central European region in the past two decades. Under his management, the capital value of the company increased more than 200 times. The company is currently considered among the 10 largest real estate developers in Europe. During the pandemic, Gábor Futó foresaw the boom in the industrial real estate market and the growing demand for modern, sustainable megaparks. Thanks to this, HelloParks has now become the third most important industrial real estate developer in the country based on the total area of properties under management.
