Another record-breaking Alibaba turnover on Singles Day
Another record-breaking. Chinese online retailer, Alibaba, saw record-breaking sales on Singles Day, Alibaba reported on Friday.
Alibaba Tmall’s e-commerce platform had total sales of 540.3 billion yuans (84.54 billion USD) in sales, with more than 40 billion yuans (6.2 billion USD) more than in the same period of last year. However, turnover growth has slowed to its lowest level in ten years. (MTI)
