Travel agencies are expecting another record year
The general meeting of the Association of Hungarian Travel Agencies (MUISZ) began in this year’s destination, Rász el-Haima, with nearly sixty participants. The invited guests could listen to a meaningful presentation about the insurance market, and the hosting emirate also presented itself at the event.
At the event, Judit Molnár, the president of MUISZ, thanked the Tourist Office of Rász el-Haima and the Hungarian representatives of the destination, Aviareps Magyarország, for the invitation and the organization of the event, and then reported on the most important news of this year’s 50-year advocacy – reports Turizmus.com.
In 2024, travel agencies are expecting a particularly strong year, the amount of property insurance is 43 percent higher than last year, and in the case of charterers, the expected market expansion is even more extreme, 50 percent, he pointed out. While 482 travel agencies were required to deposit a deposit before last year, 531 already closed in 2023.
