AutoWallis Group strengthens in the Czech Republic with new brands
AutoWallis Group is further expanding its activities in the Czech Republic after acquiring MILAN KRÁL GROUP, a company operating in the South Bohemian region. Thanks to this move, the leading integrated car dealership and mobility service provider in Central and Eastern Europe, operating in 16 countries – which acquired Stratos Auto’s three BMW dealerships in the Czech Republic in the summer – is now present on the Czech car market in addition to BMW with the sale and service of Ford and Mercedes-Benz cars and Mercedes-Benz Truck heavy-duty vehicles.
The leading integrated car dealership and mobility company in Central and Eastern Europe has acquired MILAN KRÁL GROUP, a company operating in the South Bohemian region. Thanks to the transaction, AutoWallis Group now represents 27 car brands in 16 countries. As a precursor to this move, in July this year, the Group acquired three BMW dealerships from Stratos Auto in Prague, Hradec Králové and Pardubice, so with the transaction now closed, Czech customers can now access the services of the Budapest-based company in eight dealerships. AutoWallis has strengthened its position in the country with new brands (Mercedes, Mercedes-Benz Truck, Ford) and has gained a significant market share in the premium segment. With the acquisition of MILAN KRÁL GROUP, AutoWallis has strengthened its position in the BMW network, expanding its retail market share in the Czech Republic from 13 to 20 percent. With the acquisition of MILAN KRÁL Group, AutoWallis’ portfolio has expanded, as it has entered the large commercial vehicle market with the sale and servicing of the Mercedes-Benz Truck brand. The long-term development of the latter activity is also supported by a 3,400 square meter Mercedes-Benz Truck sales point and service center currently under construction, scheduled to open in 2025.
With the acquisition, nearly 200 employees of MILAN KRÁL GROUP and the company’s experienced management have joined the team of international professionals of the AutoWallis Group.
