Another Hungarian company is acquired by the Romanian Sameday courier service
The Romanian courier service Sameday is acquiring another Hungarian company – reports economedia.ro based on the company’s announcement.
Sameday acquires the Pactic group, the transaction has been approved by the relevant authorities. Pactic, based in Budapest, is a company providing integrated logistics services, which handled around 3.5 million deliveries in 2023.”We believe in borderless delivery services that provide the same high-level experience to customers in Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria. The acquisition of the Pactic group is another step by which we strengthen our position in the region,” Lucian Baltaru, CEO of Sameday, quotes economedia.ro as saying.This is Sameday’s second acquisition in Hungary, it bought the Sprinter courier service in April.Sameday, which belongs to the eMag group, appeared on the Hungarian market in 2020, and expanded its services to Bulgaria in 2022. The company operates more than 700 Easybox parcel machines in Hungary.
