Another three billion forints invests in BAT in Pécs
One of the world's largest tobacco company, the London-based British American Tobacco group significantly expands its capacities and creates 200 new jobs in Pécs with a three billion HUF investment – Szijjártó Péter, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations announced at a press conference in Budapest on Tuesday.
Szijjártó Péter said that the investment is a new success in the Hungarian-British economic and trade cooperations. He added that the National Investment Agency (HIPA) is also negotiating with seven British companies about further investments. Szijjártó Péter also indicated that Hungarian-British trade turnover increased by 15 percent to 5 billion euros last year. (MTI)
