Posta is putting new electric trucks on the market
Magyar Posta’s vehicle fleet continues to green after the company took delivery of 45 new electric trucks from Porsche Hungaria, increasing the number of electric trucks used by the company to nearly a hundred. During the handover, President and CEO Dr. Barnabás Balczó emphasized: Magyar Posta is committed to sustainability, which is why it is important for the company to have as little burden as possible on the environment during the delivery of packages.
The management of the company took delivery of Magyar Posta’s new electric trucks, which can be used for parcel delivery and delivery, at the Porsche Hungaria site in Budaörs.
Dr. Géza Láng, Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Development, emphasized in his greeting that Posta’s impact on society and the environment is significant, and due to this “responsibility, it must develop its business strategy by integrating long-term, value-creating economic, environmental and social aspects. Because the goal is to create a sustainably operating national company that can be competitive and efficient in the long term, meeting the changing customer needs of the 21st century.”
