Nestlé has lined up the acquisition of a mineral water company
Upon completion of the deal, Nestlé_Waters will control slightly less than 25% of the Swiss bottled water market.
The food and drinks giant confirmed today that it has agreed with the Rouge
family to buy a 61.66% stake in the company. The purchase, which is still
subject to regulatory approval, will cost Nestlé CHF155m (US$128.1m), which
breaks down to CHF3,000 per share.
