Another price reduction at PENNY

Nearly half of the pork range is affected by PENNY’s price reduction, which is 7% on average, but can reach 16% for some products. The price drop covers several meat categories, with customers finding pork minced meat, pork legs and even pork shoulder on sale on the shelves, among others.

We can find price reductions on about 64% of the chicken meat range in stores, and it affects products such as the popular packaged chicken breast, chicken legs and chicken wings, among others. For the affected products, this is an average of 9%, while the largest discount can mean savings of up to 24%.

“It is of utmost importance for PENNY to provide customers with quality and budget-friendly prices at the same time. As the second element of our January price reduction, we also reduced the price of our meat selection after dairy products, so now domestic fresh chicken and pork can be found in the baskets at even more favorable prices” – stated Zoltán Bálint, head of the purchasing department at PENNY.
