Aldi Nord to open 700 new stores in Europe by 2026
Aldi Nord is accelerating its expansion abroad, with a multi-billion dollar plan to open 700 new stores over the next three years. CEO Torsten Hufnagel would increase the number of stores in the European network to up to 6,000 by 2026, 700 more than today. According to Lebensmittel Zeitung, the biggest expansions are expected in France, Poland and Spain.
