Getting rid of PET-bottles…

The 9th Felső-Tiszai PET Kupa, consisting mainly of veteran teams, relieved another 6 tons of waste on the 60-river-kilometre section of the river between Tiszabecs and Vásárosnamény-Gergelyiugornya. The organisers stressed that although regular and severe flooding can rearrange the waste situation in the river’s floodplain from time to time, fortunately the result seems to be years of sustained work.
