From June 1, 2024, József Hrubi will perform the management duties of the Makó factory unit of ContiTech Fluid Automotive Hungária Kft., a member of the Continental company group. The new factory manager started his professional career at Continental immediately after completing his university studies: from 1997, he was involved in wheel sensor development and project management in his hometown of Veszprém, and six years later, as a development manager, he was responsible for the structure of R&D activities at the company’s Mexican factory in Silao.

After that, he returned to Veszprém, where he performed tasks related to quality assurance and customer relations, and then became the head of the R&D area. Between 2009 and 2015, he was responsible for managing the speed sensor segment, and from 2016 he continued his career as a quality and ESH manager in Veszprém. In 2022, he became the head of one of the factory units of the company group’s plant in Calamba, Philippines.

“During my more than 25-year career, I have been able to meet many different situations and people, thanks to which I know that in the long term, really good results can only be achieved through close cooperation and teamwork. I come to Mako with this spirit as well: my important goal is to maintain good relations with our colleagues and the staff of interest representation organizations and to create a fair and supportive workplace atmosphere in which everyone feels comfortable. Difficulties have arisen in recent years, but I will strive to ensure that our joint work takes a new, productive direction, that our factory is successful and that all my colleagues in Makó do their work with pride and passion.”
