Richárd’s professional journey began in 2007 at Thomas Cook / Neckermann, where he was initially responsible for Hungarian e-commerce channels and later also oversaw digital sales interfaces in the Eastern European region. In 2015, he joined Mito Digital, first as a senior project manager and delivery team lead, and later as head of business development. Richárd holds degrees in IT and education from the University of Pécs. He believes in the balance between technology and user experience, with special focus on digital solutions that support every stage of the customer journey.
As head of the Digital Tribe, he will oversee the design and development of Yettel’s website, mobile apps, and self-service customer support functions.
“I believe digitalisation is not just a matter of technology, but of mindset. At Yettel, our aim is to build forward-thinking digital capabilities that are intuitive and create real value for our customers — the experience of digital freedom.”
said Richárd Deák about his new role.
In his free time, Richárd is actively involved in the community as president of the Hungarian Ducati Club. He is a passionate golfer, high-tech aquarium enthusiast, and avid gamer. He is married and the father of two daughters.
