CETIN International, N.V. appoints new CEO

Jason King will succeed Juraj Šedivý, who will step down from his leadership position in line with the long-term succession plan, but will remain Chairman of the Board of Directors of CETIN International and CETIN Czech Republic. Juraj Šedivý has held leading positions in the CETIN organization since 2019. In this role, he was responsible for developing the company’s infrastructure capabilities, leading-edge network and resilient operations in CETIN’s Central and Eastern European operations.

“Juraj has played a key role in the development of CETIN and as Chairman of the Board of Directors of CETIN International, he will continue to set the strategic direction of the company,” said Balesh Sharma, CEO of e&PPF Telecom Group, which owns the majority of CETIN International. – Jason’s appointment is an important step as CETIN International further strengthens its ICT focus and supports the company’s growth in Central and Eastern Europe.”

Jason King has been CEO of Yettel Bulgaria since 2018 and previously held senior positions at VEON, UPC Czech Republic (Liberty Global) and Deutsche Telekom. In addition to leading CETIN International, he works with the individual boards and management teams to drive the development of ICT initiatives in the group’s international markets – Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria and Slovakia.
