A new CEO with significant management experience in the building materials industry has been appointed to head Graboplast, based in Győr: the leading flooring manufacturer in Central Europe will be managed by Judit Járomi from March 2026. The specialist has been working in management positions in various manufacturing and commercial areas for nearly 30 years, in recent years at international building materials manufacturing companies focusing on export markets.

Járomi Judit
As of March 2, 2026, the owner Wallis Group has appointed Judit Járomi as CEO of Graboplast Zrt., based in Győr. The specialist has been working in a manufacturing environment for international companies in the food and construction industries for nearly 30 years. She has gained extensive experience in managing complex, large-volume production and business processes. He started his professional career at Cerbona, then worked for nearly 15 years in various positions at Hungrana, Europe’s largest grain processor. For the past 18 years, he has worked as a senior manager in sales and marketing, of which 10 years were spent as a managing director at companies primarily focused on export markets, first at KALL Ingredients Kft, then at Creaton South-East Europe Kft, and most recently at Baumit Kft.
The 120-year-old Graboplast is the leading specialist flooring manufacturer in Central and Eastern Europe, with three production units in Hungary (Győr, Tatabánya, Kecskemét). The company, owned by the Wallis Group, achieved sales of 20 billion forints in 2024. Graboplast’s products are manufactured using the most modern technologies, which the company, which employs nearly 500 people, sells to about 80 countries on five continents. It manufactures its own special floor coverings in Győr and Tatabánya, and produces wooden parquet in Kecskemét. In addition to the production of residential floors, Graboplast focuses on its own developed special floor coverings with high added value, such as sports, public, design and automotive floors.
Graboplast has entered a new stage of development, in which the owner Wallis Group primarily expects the new CEO to continue the already begun efficiency-increasing transformation of manufacturing and production processes, and to further develop the commercial and sales area. Graboplast aims to further strengthen its presence in the Hungarian, European and global markets by building on its special flooring products and R&D capabilities, successfully building on the company’s 120-year tradition.
Judit Járomi took over the position from László Ivan, who, despite the challenging and difficult economic environment, has implemented numerous successful projects in the past three years, further improving Graboplast’s competitiveness in Hungary and on international markets. The former CEO introduced IT and modern corporate management systems and data-based processes that contributed to the structured operation with which Graboplast is able to compete with its special flooring products in the increasingly global competition. These developments provide a stable foundation for the company’s further growth. The Wallis Group would like to thank László Ivan for his achievements in recent years, who will perform additional tasks at other Wallis Group companies in the future.
