New CEO at Metro

According to the company's press release; from the 1st of January 2010, Peter Schweighofer is the CEO of Metro Commercial Ltd.

Previously, for a half year, Jeroen de Groot led the company. Peter Schweighofer previously worked as a supply manager at METRO’s Cash & Carry China.
Metro Trade Ltd. has been operating in Hungary since 1993. Entered to the Hungarian market first among the the international trading companies, currently operating with 13 stores.
The Metro group has 2200 businesses, 300,000 employees in 32 countries and its 2008 turnover reached 68 billion euros.
