“It is a great pleasure and honor to join Magyar Suzuki. In line with the mission statement of our parent company, my goal for the coming years is to help Magyar Suzuki continue to provide a close and reliable presence for its customers and partners, and to develop sustainably while responding to social needs in this changing automotive environment”
– said Sakai Fumito.
“Five years ago, I took over as CEO of Magyar Suzuki during a particularly difficult period. However, arriving in the midst of the coronavirus, a well-organized team supported my work. In the following years, new unexpected challenges tested our community, while the automotive industry was undergoing a complete transformation. I am proud that Magyar Suzuki Suzuki has maintained its stability even in these difficult circumstances and remains one of the leading economic players in Hungary. We export the models manufactured in Esztergom to more than 100 countries around the world, and the cars manufactured here are also very popular in the domestic market. The Esztergom factory also plays a significant role within our group of companies, as we provide numerous European-level services from Esztergom. I am particularly proud of the developments of recent years, which focus on factory modernization, efficiency improvement, digitalization and carbon-neutral operation. All of this not only strengthens the competitiveness of Magyar Suzuki, but also its role within the Suzuki Group. I would like to thank my colleagues, partners and suppliers for their always constructive and forward-looking work together, and I wish the entire company much success!”
– said Atsumi Masato, outgoing CEO.
