New fair in Cologne devoted to the cult of coffee
The debut of a new fair is to be held in Cologne between 26-28. June. This will be the Coffeena – International Coffee Fair, with everything related to coffee. The event is to be accompanied by conferences, seminars and workshops. There will also be an open day for the public. The reason for launching this event is that coffee is among the most popular products in many countries. Retail sales of coffee in Hungary total nearly HUF 50 billion annually, while HoReCa sales total HUF 1 billion. In Hungary, coffee ranks fifth among the 90 food categories monitored by Nielsen, while Germany is second in the world behind the US with a per capita consumption of 146 litres.
