New business model in e-commerce
Webshippy launched a new service in 2020, called Dropshippy. Drop shipping is a business model, in which a retailer can operate an online shop without keeping goods in stock or delivering the products themselves. Instead it transfers the full logistics of the deal to a third party, a so-called drop shipping partner.
Utilising the drop shipping model can be a major business advantage in three areas: increasing the product selection of an existing online store, introducing online sales at websites or platforms with many visitors, and launching online selling quickly and effectively for new businesses. What is more, the drop shipping model is also a perfect opportunity for product manufacturers and importers to acquire new selling partners.
