The plant, which is Bonduelle's first in Brazil, began manufacturing operations in mid-September, the company said. Once fully operational the plant will have the capacity to produce 50,000 tons per annum.
Bonduelle said that it invested 15 million euro in the plant, which employs 80 workers.
