New Managing Director Appointed at SAP Hungary
From October 1, 2025, Péter Hidvégi will assume the role of Managing Director at SAP Hungary, reporting directly to the head of the Central Europe Cluster.
Péter Hidvégi brings over twenty years of experience in the technology and consulting sectors, with a career defined by strategic thinking and a customer-centric approach. Since joining SAP in 2017, Péter Hidvégi has held various leadership positions, contributing to the company’s growth. He has worked with key domestic clients, including MOL, MVM, Richter, and Egis, and in recent years, as a sales leader responsible first for the utilities, energy, and pharmaceutical sectors, and later for large enterprise clients, successfully strengthened customer relationships and expanded the company’s market presence.
Prior to joining SAP, Péter Hidvégi gained extensive experience at several international companies. He began a career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and continued at IBM’s consulting division as an SAP consultant. For ten years, Péter Hidvégi was responsible for leading complex system implementations and managing the SAP consulting practice at Accenture Hungary, after which he headed Microsoft’s regional collaboration with one of the largest players in the telecommunications sector.
A father of five, Péter Hidvégi holds an engineering degree from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and an MBA from Corvinus University of Budapest.
Known for a calm, collaborative leadership style, broad industry knowledge, and results-driven approach, Péter Hidvégi is a recognized leader both within the profession and the organization.
With more than 2,000 employees, SAP Hungary has become one of the key growth engines in the Central and Eastern European region, consistently delivering strong business results and creating real value for its clients.
