The domestic Praktiker supermarket chain has a new owner
On 18 January 2016, the domestic Praktiker supermarket chain has a new owner after the properties owned by the Praktiker will be managed by the Wallis Group, while the operational company came under the control of the current managing director of Praktiker.
The Wallis Group, as well as Praktiker’s Chief Executive agreed that they will jointly operate the operative company within a joint company owned by the Wallis Group. The parties hope that the Competition Authority will issue the permit in the first quarter of 2016.
