The Office of Education has developed new curriculum for commercial training centers in collaboration with Tesco
The Education Office has developed a new, state-accredited curriculum covering the entire spectrum of commerce, in collaboration with Tesco, Tesco told MTI on Tuesday.
According to the information, the curriculum, developed specifically for teaching students with special educational needs (SNI), is available online for use in schools and dual trade training centers.
The announcement quotes Attila Hajas, editor of the textbook development department of the Education Office, who says that the professional supply of people working in commerce is an increasingly challenging task. SNI students have difficulty coping with overly abstract, theoretical concepts and connections, which is why they strived to create a curriculum with a practical approach.
Gábor László, head of the institution and quality assurance of the Tesco Academy, emphasized in the announcement that they have been providing vocational training to students in commerce since 2017 in cooperation with trade and workshop schools, training more than 2,800 students annually. The new curriculum fits organically into their dual education system, he added.
