MSZÉSZ helps hotels with a new advisory program
The Hungarian Hotel and Restaurant Association (MSZÉSZ) has launched a new Advisory Program, which provides expert support to hotels in the mandatory accommodation certification process. The initiative was born based on feedback from the membership and professional partners.
According to the current regulations, only accommodations with a valid certification may operate in Hungary. The MSZÉSZ program offers professional assistance to hotels that are awaiting certification, are required to undergo additional inspections, and are under construction or renovation.
An important deadline is that the certification procedures that are ongoing on March 16, 2025 must be completed by December 31, 2025 at the latest, the association reminds.
The program is available exclusively to MSZÉSZ members, so joining hotels will receive expert support in addition to the benefits of membership to successfully complete the certification process.
