New support scheme to help sugar beet production

The Ministry of Rural Development (VM) developed a support scheme to assist sugar beet production.

The new support scheme provides the necessary budget for the conditions for the safe management of the domestic beet sugar quota.

According to the Monday release of the Ministry of Rural Development (VM) the government considers the long-term maintenance of the 2014 annual sugar quota production as important, and therefore developed a new support scheme for 2014 after consultation. (MTI)
