Lidl confirmed a new chef
Michelin Young Chef award winner Jani Mizsei, MÁK chef, replaces Michelin-starred chef Tamás Széll, who is leaving Lidl after 10 years, in the Lidl Kitchen. At the same time, the platform will also be supplemented with desserts, and in the future sweets lovers can be inspired by the gastro influencer Gréti Kapunics. The renewed ambassador team is also strengthened by Fanni Piskor, the company’s wine expert, and Adrienn Szabó, Lidl’s new dietetics expert.
Lidl launched the now iconic Lidl Kitchen 10 years ago, thanks to which customers were able to enrich themselves with numerous recipes, videos and chef tips from beginners to professionals. The department store chain also published 9 cookbooks, with which it treated its most loyal customers year after year. Now Michelin Young Chef awardee Jani Mizsei, chef of MÁK Restaurant, is replacing Lidl’s chef, Michelin-starred Tamás Széll. The renewed Lidl Kitchen will also be supplemented with desserts, in which the gastro-influencer Gréti Kapunics will help those who love sweets.
“A defining era has now come to an end, but at the same time we are sailing into new waters. We are extremely grateful to Tamás for the past 10 years, as we and our customers owe a lot to him, and we wish him success in his new challenges! And the renewing corporate ambassador team, in addition to bringing youthful, dynamic energy, will continue to help our customers with high-level expertise and the representation of quality products, as well as by strengthening conscious shopping. We believe in the joy of cooking at home and in health-conscious nutrition, and we want to support our customers in this in the future as well.”
– pointed out Judit Tőssér, Lidl’s corporate communications manager.
