A new QR code instant payment solution will be launched from September
From September, a new QR-code instant payment solution will be available in Hungary. The innovative service is developed by SimplePay, which is based on a unified qvik QR code, deeplink and NFC-based solutions. The new payment system is being introduced based on the guidelines of the Hungarian National Bank (MNB) and Giro.
According to OTP Bank’s statement, the new payment solution can be particularly beneficial for businesses for which traditional card acceptance is too expensive. QR code payment provides a convenient and secure solution, which is also legally free for payers and does not require downloading another application.
The new system will initially offer QR code and deep link payment options to businesses. In addition, through the telephone POS service, NFC-based bank transfer payment is also introduced, which enables touch bank card payment as well as touch bank transfer payment.
This new payment solution can greatly contribute to simplifying payment processes and reducing costs for businesses, while providing users with a convenient and free alternative.
