Pringles introduces new paper-based packaging in Ireland

Pringles has introduced new environmentally friendly paper packaging in Ireland that customers can easily recycle at home. Replacing the aluminium can Pringles packaging of the 1960s and now available nationwide, the new tube is made from 90% paper, with a paper base and a plastic lid. Pringles spent EUR 100m to develop the new technology and performed rigorous tests to ensure that product taste and freshness remain unchanged.
