Violife’s portfolio has been expanded with new plant-based sandwich toppings
We can no longer only enjoy plant-based cheese substitutes in the Violife range. The company has introduced 100% plant-based sandwich toppings belonging to the sub-brand of Viodeli in Hungary, which are alternatives to cold meats of animal origin. The products of the brand belonging to Upfield are available in three flavors – chicken, ham and turkey – in many hypermarkets and supermarkets across the country.
The Violife brand was created more than 30 years ago by three friends: since in the traditional Greek diet they do not eat animal-derived food for more than a hundred days, the opportunity presented itself – and in the early 90s, they created the tasty cheese alternative. Another milestone was reached this summer, so the sub-brand Viodeli was introduced alongside the plant-based cheese alternatives that are already popular here.
Viodeli is a 100% plant-based alternative to traditional cold meats. They are free of gluten, milk, preservatives, soy and nuts, so everyone can enjoy them, regardless of diet or food intolerance. The product is available in three flavors: ham, chicken and turkey. All three versions are available in 100 g sliced format and can be used for sandwiches, toasts, or quick snacks. They are also great for hot dishes, for example pizza can be made with a Viodeli ham flavored product, but the chicken and turkey flavored version can be a great alternative to savory pancakes or a refreshing summer tortilla wrap.
