The Hungarian event market sets a new standard with 101 Hang

The special thing about the project is that it is the dream of a small, independent event planning company, Friends, and it is being realized on its own – as the vision of a team that has been working for years to ensure that the Hungarian creative profession creates world-class experience productions.

The production will feature 125 performers – including eight singers, two DJs, a conductor, a four-piece rock band, a 45-piece male choir, a 60-piece symphony orchestra and three dancers.

The size and complexity of the visual design also sets a record: a 1,000 m² LED wall above the stage, an additional 400 m² of moving visual surface among the audience, dynamic projections, interactive light and sound systems, which together create a new dimension in the concept of tribute production.

“To our knowledge, no LED installation of this size has ever been built in the history of the MVM Dome – the coordination of visual content and scenery is a serious engineering and creative challenge”

– said György Sallai, the project’s operational manager and producer.

The concert was The song gets a special visual appearance: 20 short films were made for each song, which one by one reveal the layers of Dave Gahan’s life.

According to the concept of the director, Balázs Petke, the goal of the production is not a simple concert experience, but a moving image musical journey, where film language, symphonic sound and electronic music form a unity.

101 Hang is therefore not only a tribute to Depeche Mode, but also proof of a small Hungarian creative community that it is possible to create a world-class production with dedication, creativity and your own strength.
