The Gyermelyi Zrt. inaugurated its new mill

The Gyermelyi Zrt. inaugurated its new mill on Friday. The mill is capable to grind a daily 200 tons soft wheat, and 150 tons of durum wheat. The investment, carried out with a two billion HUF investment was handed over Fazekas Sándor, Minister for Rural Development.

The company is processing 100 thousand tons of wheat per year, purchased from its 200 contracted partner. For them Gyermelyi Zrt. produces its own seed, an annnal 10 thousand tons, in collaboration with the Martonvásár-based Research Institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. (MTI)
