New Hungarian leaders and global strategic transformation at The Coca-Cola Company
On 2 April, The Coca-Cola Company will continue its commercial, marketing and communication activities throughout Europe, including in Hungary, with a new line-up, leadership changes and a newly established operating unit.
By merging the business regions of Western Europe and Central and Eastern Europe, The Coca-Cola Company has created a new joint European operating unit. With the creation of the new ORGANISATIONAL UNIT, the benefits of central decision-making and local implementation will be applied at the same time. The aim of the strategic transformation is a strong resumption and rapid growth after the pandemic. The transformation also affects the hungarian leadership.
Gergely Kölcsei becomes the company’s new marketing manager in Hungary
Gergely Kölcsei takes over the management of the Hungarian marketing team, which he manages in close cooperation with the marketing team, which now includes the whole of Europe. The professional joined the company nearly six years ago. As a senior brand manager, his name is associated with national campaigns such as the #loveislove initiative, coca-cola’s large-scale summer festival activities, the “Help instead of Advertising” initiative supporting the work of the Hungarian Red Cross in the event of a coronavirus outbreak, or even the “Better than ever” campaign, in which Coca-Cola helped one of the industries most affected by the coronavirus during the period of relaustment, the hospitality sector.
