A new option for redemption: Kifli’s couriers will take the bottles from your home
Under certain conditions, Kifli’s couriers will now go to your door to pick up bottles and jars intended for redemption, the company’s announcement states.
As part of the online store’s new service, couriers carry a special bag with them, into which ten plastic bottles or metal cans can be placed. The bag must be sealed and handed over to the courier, and only one bag will be taken from a household at a time. Prior notification is not required, it is enough to notify the courier at the door.
The amount due for the returned products is credited as credit, which can be used during the next Kifli purchase. If someone prefers to receive the amount back in cash, they must contact customer service.
The plastic bottles and aluminum cans that have been on the market since July only have a deposit fee in Hungary, and there are frequent user complaints about the machines used to redeem them.
