A new era in the Hungarian brewing industry

This year’s most important beer professional awards were handed over within a gala evening, organized by the Főzdefeszt Cluster and the Association of Hungarian Brewers.

The new development strategy of Főzdefeszt was presented and it was announced that the Beer Association will expand with supporting members in the future, providing an opportunity for the smaller domestic brewers to join the industry advocacy organization.

The most important beer professional awards of the year were handed over on 3 November at the Anniversary Awards Gala of the Főzdefeszt and the Association of Hungarian Brewers (MSSz).

The Főzdefeszt was born in 2011 with the aim to redraw the Hungarian beer culture, creating space for the small breweries, the diversity and the beer gastronomy. Since then 10 Főzdefeszt festivals were organized with 60-80 thousand visitors a year.
