A new era at FOXPOST: Z-BOX vending machines are integrated

Starting September 8, the integration of Packeta’s Z-BOX parcel lockers into the FOXPOST network will begin. During the transition, users will encounter two locker types that operate within a single, unified network.

Two locker types, one network

FOXPOST’s familiar touch-screen lockers will continue under the name FOXPOST A-BOX, while the button-operated units from the Packeta system will appear as FOXPOST Z-BOX. Parcel pickup works the same on both types, but there are differences in sending and payment: with A-BOX no prior registration is required and payment is made via POS terminal, while Z-BOX requires online registration and payment via link. In webshops, clear labels will indicate which options each locker type supports.

Pilot first, nationwide rollout next

In the first phase, 18 lockers will be installed, followed by a several-week pilot to monitor and evaluate performance. After the test period, a total of 139 FOXPOST Z-BOX units will be deployed to new locations this year. Full Packeta-network integration will continue in 2026.

Upgraded finder and data interfaces

Alongside the changes, FOXPOST is renewing its locker-finder module and data connection system (widget/JSON). The new setup provides more accurate, real-time capacity data, helping users choose the least busy lockers. FOXPOST will support customers, webshops, and e-commerce platform developers with detailed guidance: usage instructions, feature comparisons between locker types, and technical integration manuals.
