A new challenge for companies: cash paid for ransomware attacks have jumped dramatically
The amount of ransoms paid globally for ransomware attacks rose to an unprecedented $20 billion last year. In addition to the large ones, small and medium-sized enterprises are on the target of criminals, regardless of the region, so they also have to provide modern protection systems. Raising the money requested in their case could even jeopardize their operations, points out Maxvalor, the Hungarian distributor of Danish HeimdalTM Security.
