In his welcoming speech before the foundation stone laying ceremony, Minister of Agriculture István Nagy highlighted that more than 1,500 billion forints reached farmers in the rural development program that ended in 2025. In the CAP Strategic Plan that runs until 2027, almost 500 billion forints are available for the food and processing industry, the minister explained. István Nagy added that three tenders have been issued so far, and based on the decisions, more than 900 food and processing industry projects have received support worth 450 billion forints.

Zsolt Csorba, CEO of Sano-Modern Takarmányozás Kft., said that the new ready-to-feed mixing plant will supply feed to Hungarian, Romanian, Slovak and Bulgarian cattle and pig farms, as well as sell it to individual users. The plant will have two production lines for the production of pig and cattle feed. The planned capacity of the facility is 60 tons per hour, thus enabling the production of 120 thousand tons of ready-to-feed feed per year. The factory will be complemented by a 2,400 square meter warehouse. The investment is scheduled to be completed in October 2028.
