Samsung Color E-Paper delivers energy-efficient and flexible operations
The Samsung Color E-Paper (EMDX model) redefines energy-efficient digital displays by combining e-ink with innovative color e-paper technology. This ultra-low-power, lightweight, and slim display can serve as an eco-friendly alternative to traditional paper-based advertising media while delivering the enhanced visibility and functionality businesses demand.
Using advanced digital ink technology, EMDX consumes 0.00W of power when displaying static images and consumes significantly less power during image transitions than traditional digital displays, resulting in significant cost savings.[i] The ultra-thin and ultra-lightweight design makes it easy to deploy, while a variety of sizes can serve a variety of business needs. EMDX is available in four different sizes: 13-inch (1600×1200), 25-inch (3200×1800), 32-inch QHD (2560×1440), and outdoor 75-inch (5120×2880). The Color E-Paper also features a 5000mAh rechargeable battery, two USB-C ports for charging and data transfer, 8GB of memory, and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support for versatile connectivity.
For seamless device management, users can remotely control the display, schedule on/off times, and set up playlists at pre-defined intervals using a dedicated mobile app[ii]. Samsung’s VXT (Visual Experience Transformation) further simplifies content management with a feature designed specifically for Samsung Color E-Paper. A special algorithm optimizes content visibility for the display, and a preview function allows users to ensure content and colors are displayed accurately before operation.
