Lidl introduces new mark for tomatoes
Lidl introduces a new marking system in its stores from mid-July. The method is ranking tomatoes according to their sugar content, which makes it easy for customers to find a product that suits their taste.
Tomatoes are enormously popular in Hungary, and Lidl offers an extremely wide range of products for its customers so that everyone can find their favourites. The food chain sold nearly 8,000 tons of tomatoes, which exceeds the previous year’s sales by more than 20 percent.
