New director at the head of the Continental factory in Szeged
From February 1, 2024, Sándor Horváth took over the position of director of the Szeged factory of the Continental technology company from his predecessor, Sven Meier. The new factory manager started his career as an intern at the Szeged site, then joined Continental’s team as a technologist in 2007, and two years later as a production manager. After that, he worked as an operations and process development manager. Between 2022 and 2023, he performed global tasks as process development manager of Continental’s belt business. He returned to Szeged in 2023 as the operational director of the hose plant.
“Nothing proves my commitment to our community better than the fact that I strive to support the company’s success with the greatest possible precision and maximalism. In addition, I deeply believe in the importance of mutual respect: we should treat others as we would expect to be treated. Along this spirit, we must continue to build the fruitful relationship we have experienced in the past with each and every one of our colleagues, including the staff of our advocacy organizations. In order to be able to further improve the results of our Szeged factory despite the current challenges, these are all essential”
said Sándor Horváth.
