New director at the head of the Continental factory in Budapest
Zoltán Dapsy, who previously managed Continental’s factory in Veszprém, took over the position of director of Continental Automotive Hungary Kft.’s Budapest factory as of January 1, 2024. His predecessor, Dr. Róbert Keszte, who held the position for 10 years, greatly contributed to the development of the company in Budapest. Under his management, the production systems were renewed, the facility developed into an industry 4.0 model factory, and the product portfolio was also rationalized, thanks to which the factory was on a growth path.
Zoltán Dapsy joined the Budapest factory of the German technology company in 2003, as a quality assurance manager. Between 2015 and 2017, he gained international experience in the same position in Sibiu. From 2018, he was the head of the factory unit producing brake control electronics in Budapest, and since 2022 he was the director of the Veszprém factory of Continental Automotive Hungary Kft. From February 1, 2024, Zoltán Dapsy will be succeeded by András Mészáros, who joined the company in 2008 and worked in a regional role in the group’s Smart Mobility business in recent years.
