New home for the Museum
This autumn the Hungarian Museum of Trade and Tourism will move to the 3rd district, namely to Dugonics Square 13-17. Director Imre Kiss told MTI (Hungarian News Agency) that the new home opens up several new opportunities for developing the museum. The management would like to build a Krúdy memorial room, establish permanent exhibitions, a winery in the cellar and a delicatessen shop (Dobos Delikát). They would also like to attract visitors with cultural programmes, so the popular Kultea series will continue with concerts, lectures, discussions and films.
