Coca-Cola HBC Hungary opened a new production line in Dunaharaszti
Coca-Cola HBC Magyarország inaugurated its newest, ultra-modern production line in Dunaharaszti on Tuesday in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó. The new line and the new 3,000-square-meter production hall in its place were completed with an investment of around 23 million euros (HUF 8.7 billion). With this development launched in the spring of 2023, the country’s largest soft drink bottler increased its production capacity by 30 percent, responding to the ever-increasing demands of the domestic and international markets. Thanks to the investment, the country’s largest soft drink manufacturing company took another big step towards the Dunaharaszt plant becoming the leading Central European production base of the Coca-Cola HBC group of companies.
Coca-Cola HBC Hungary has been continuously developing its production activities since 1996 and has invested more than HUF 135 billion in the domestic operation over the past 27 years. The company produces products in Dunaharaszti and Zalaszentgrót, and has 8 logistics distribution centers, including Hungary’s largest food industry warehouse. Coca-Cola HBC Hungary is paying special attention to the development and modernization of the production unit in Dunaharaszt, since not only the entire Hungarian market, but also 17 export countries are largely supplied with products from here.
The design of the new production line, dedicated to the high-quality service of the ever-increasing domestic and foreign demands, began in 2020, and after approval in 2022, construction began in February 2023, including logistical and other infrastructural developments intended to support the growing production volume.
