Procter & Gamble creates one hundred and fifty new jobs in Gyöngyös
Papp Kitti, Procter & Gamble’s Central European Financial Officer and Szijjártó Péter, the Prime Minister's Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations announced today that the Procter & Gamble signed a government subsidy contract in connection with a greenfield investment in Gyöngyös. This confirms that the company's new investments has a strategic importance in the country.
The nearly 19 billion HUF worth investment creates 150 new jobs in Gyöngyös. The facility of P & G will be the second production unit in Hungary, where the world-wide market leader Pampers diapers will be produced. The investment that will be carried out in Gyöngyös is connected to the company's international production system. The products that will be manufactured in Gyöngyös will be marketed in addition to the Hungarian market in some EU countries and in several countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa.
