Mol opened a new Fresh Corner kiosk at Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport on Thursday.

At the opening, Máté Lóga, Minister of Economic Development and Industry at the Ministry of National Economy (NGM), Secretary of State, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Budapest Airport Zrt., highlighted that the repurchase of Budapest Airport in 2024 is an unprecedented economic policy story in the life of Hungary. Last year, the airport’s traffic continued to increase, with 19.6 million passengers arriving or departing from here, and freight transport also set a new record, with 420 thousand tons of freight traffic in 2025.

The growth far exceeds the expectations that were forecasted when the transaction was concluded – he emphasized. He added that this is not only the success of the airport, but also of Hungarian aviation and Hungarian tourism.

The goal of the Ministry of Transport is for Budapest Airport to provide a stable high level of service and to increase the quality and availability of Hungarian values ​​and Hungarian products – explained Máté Lóga.

With the opening of Mol Fresh Corner, products of an already well-known brand can also be purchased at the airport. The level of services is further enhanced by the availability of high-quality Hungarian products and Hungarian food, Fresh Corner typically offers Hungarian products

The opening of the new unit is expected to make tourists visiting the area get to know and love this brand, and if appropriate, the Hungarian products distributed by Fresh Corner will become available at other airports as well – Máté Lóga announced.
