New paintings on Mizo Art Coffee packaging
Mizo Coffee Selection is reinterpreting the coffee experience again this summer: the 2025 Mizo Art Coffee collection offers not only a taste experience, but also a visual journey. The series, conceived in collaboration with the Virág Judit Gallery, brings the hidden treasures of Hungarian art to store shelves – and into the hands of coffee enthusiasts.
The concept of Mizo Art Coffee was born from the idea that coffee can be more than a simple daily routine – it can also be a moment of encounter with culture. In this spirit, the first two collections were released in 2020 and 2021, in collaboration with famous Hungarian and international paintings, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Hungarian National Gallery. Since then, it has been searching for new forms of the encounter between art and coffee – in a way that makes culture accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
After the great success of the previous collections, Mizo is giving its featured products a new, even more exciting look this year. The special feature of Mizo Art Coffee 2025 is that the packaging is decorated with summer-themed artworks by lesser-known Hungarian painters. The paintings can provide inspiration and additional momentum in the hectic everyday life, but they can also be perfect partners in summer relaxation. We can walk along the summer embankment with Vaszary’s Danube promenade in our hands or sip at the sunset at Lake Balaton through a painting by József Egry. The colors of the waterfront, sunlight and summer inspired all the designs. Each Mizo Art Coffee product comes with 3 different paintings, so there are a total of 27 different packaging options to choose from. The goal: for everyone to find their own summer memory on each box.
“After the great classics, this year we wanted to focus on outstanding artists who are less known to the general public. The connection between art and summer is natural: both are about experiences, feelings and inspiration. The works change, but our goal remains the same: we want to bring art closer to everyone and we want beauty and inspiration to become part of our everyday lives,” said Luca Farsang, brand manager of Mizo Coffee Selection. The aim of the 2025 collection is to give space to lesser-known treasures of Hungarian art after the masterpieces of major museums. With the help of the Virág Judit Gallery, light, summer-themed paintings came into focus.
