A new chapter in MediaMarkt’s social communication – Deep Creative Collective has become the brand’s new agency
From the summer of 2025, MediaMarkt Hungary has entrusted the agency Deep Creative Collective with the strategic and creative management of its social communication. The change opens a new chapter in the brand’s social presence: the goal is for MediaMarkt’s social channels to address the audience with even more lively, relevant and technologically innovative content in the future.
The central element of the brand’s new strategy is the “The Future is FUN!” concept, which simultaneously reflects on the challenges of today – such as the climate crisis, artificial intelligence or the rapidly changing technological environment – and offers a compass for a more positive vision of the future. The strategy aims to help followers navigate the digital world, make conscious decisions, choose wisely, and in the meantime play, discover and enjoy the future.
A key element of the new approach is a self-developed AI character, who not only helps to introduce the latest technologies, but also creates a playful, inspiring universe. This AI character is a symbol of endless possibilities, but it was also important for MediaMarkt and Deep Creative Collective to fill this world not with artificial elements, but with real people and stories. That is why the AI character is based on a real, living person, whose personality traits, style and presence are transformed into a digital form using a special technological process. The character created in this way simultaneously preserves the authenticity of the original person, while continuing to function as a new, digital identity, as a separate character with its own visual features and historical background.
“According to MediaMarkt’s belief, technology is a huge opportunity for us to live better, know more and connect better with each other. We would like to pass on this thinking and, for example, inspire as many people as possible with the help of social media. I am happy that the Deep Creative Collective team has become our new partner in this, with whom we can reach a new level in this area,” said Gábor Szilágyi, Managing Director of MediaMarkt Hungary.
The goal of the joint work is to ensure that MediaMarkt’s social platforms do not just inform or entertain, but also provide real experiences – content that is worth paying attention to, that helps you navigate the world of technology, and that you can build a following from.
