Seven new food-safety requirements in agriculture
Besides the existing statutory management requirements, seven new requirements need to be met starting from January this year, within the system of cross-compliance. These are mainly animal and plant health and food safety standards. Should farmers not meet these requirements, they do not receive any support at all, therefore it is everyone's interest to know and apply the rules – the Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture pointed out in a statement.
