Unilever's new distribution centre in Poland
The company’s dynamic expansion, growing sales and market launches of new Unilever products have led to the extension of its existing warehouse.
The grounds of ProLogis Park Piotrków witnessed the formal
handing over to Unilever of a further 10,500 square meters of modern
industrial space, managed by Kuehne + Nagel. Unilever has been
leasing approximately 40,000 square meters at the ProLogis
distribution park in Piotrków Trybunalski since 2003. The new
cornerstone of the structure was laid on July 18, 2007, and less than
four months later the first goods pallet landed on the rack.
Following extension, the 50,500-square-meter warehouse will hold
67,500 pallet spaces.
