Carlsberg introduces new packaging solution
Danish brewing company Carlsberg is the first in the world to use glue instead of the plastic wrapping that holds together six-packs of cans. The new solution is called ‘snap pack’ and Carlsberg says that thanks to its introduction, they will produce 1,200 tons less plastic waste at annual level. Snap pack debuted on 10 September in Tesco stores throughout the UK.
